On behalf of all of the brothers of the Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, I would like to welcome you to our website.
Alpha Kappa Psi is the oldest professional business fraternity in the world and Alpha Chapter is proud to be the founding location for this esteemed organization. Right here, on New York University’s Washington Square Campus in 1904, our founding fathers came together with the ideals of developing future principled business leaders who embody values of brotherhood, knowledge, service, integrity and unity.
Ever since I joined the brotherhood in Fall 2017, Alpha Kappa Psi has been an integral part of my college experience. It has not only given me some of my closest friends, but a family that inspires, motivates and drives me to improve and excel every day. Our organization aspires to provide members with all the resources necessary for professional and personal success in order to grow holistically. Through our countless professional and academic engagements, community service contributions and social interactions, the brothers of Alpha Chapter foster relationships that last well beyond the college years. I am honored to lead such a talented and accomplished group of individuals that I am proud to call my brothers.
Enjoy looking through the website and learning about all that our chapter has to offer!
President 2019 – 2020
Alpha Kappa Psi is the first American Professional Business Fraternity to be chartered. It was founded and opened in 1904 at New York University. We have over 250 chapters across the United States and are the only organization to have gone international, with three chapters in the United Kingdom and more along the way. Our members represent some of most highly ranked business schools in the nation. You will not only be joining an elite group of leaders in your community, but also a global community of driven, intelligent and hard-working individuals that will be the future of business.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Founding Class, Alpha Kappa Psi can continue its tradition of setting precedents and contributing not just to New York University and New York City, but to the rest of New York and the world.

We are family.
At the core of our organization is our deep friendships. We push each other to work hard and play harder. But outside of our day-to-day relationships, we also preserve lasting traditions, from Thanksgiving alumni football games to interchapter visits to summer rooftop barbecues. Alpha Chapter is defined by our closeness, between class years and through our alumni network.
Service, to our community and beyond.
Alpha Kappa Psi sponsors many service events as part of our continuous effort to give back to the community at large. We participate in a wide range of activities, including PubliColor, Soup Kitchens, Holiday fairs, NYArts, and, most notably, Relay for Life. Our teams have placed #2 in all of NYU for fundraising for a great cause. We believe that having such a wide range of community service activities encourage brothers to further participate in community service organizations on their own time.
If you have any questions about community service events or would like to collaborate, please contact Parth Narvekar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
